Construction Law: Recent Cases Every Contractor Should Know
Texas courts continue to shape the rules that govern how contractors win, lose, and get paid on construction projects. This program walks through recent Texas decisions on the issues contractors face most often, using real-world project scenarios to explain what the courts decided, why it matters, and what contractors can do differently on their next job. Topics include force majeure, the authority of project representatives, conditions precedent, time-is-of-the-essence provisions, indemnity, dispute resolution forums, payment releases, and delay damages on public projects.
