AI for Estimating & Preconstruction is a hands-on, facilitator-led workshop designed specifically for estimators and preconstruction professionals who want to use artificial intelligence to support, not replace, professional judgment.
This two-part, live-virtual workshop focuses on where AI adds real value in estimating workflows and where human expertise remains essential. Participants explore how AI can assist with document review, scope understanding, assumptions, validation, and internal coordination, while maintaining estimator control and accountability.
Through guided practice, attendees work through a realistic estimating scenario using project documents, assumptions, and validation techniques. The session emphasizes practical prompting, scope checks, and RFI-style thinking rather than automated takeoffs or black-box outputs.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have refined estimating workflows and begun building reusable AI assistants and templates they can continue to use and adapt in preconstruction work.
