Women in Construction Student Outreach Event
AGC Houston’s Women in Construction (WIC) Committee is proud to partner with the Houston Pearls Foundation, which supports teenage girls in the foster care system ages 14 to 18, and Preparation for Adult Living (PALs) for an evening of mentorship and inspiration on Thursday, November 13, from 6:00 – 8:15 PM, at 802 Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX 77007 (The Coffee House at West End).
This special outreach event is designed to inspire and educate young girls about the exciting and diverse career opportunities within the construction industry. Through conversation and connection, WIC members will share their own experiences, highlight the wide range of roles available, and demonstrate how people from all backgrounds can find success in construction.
During the event, members will be seated at tables with guided discussion topics and simple hands-on activities designed to spark meaningful conversations. Each attendee will lead one of these discussion topics and can select their preferred topic/activity during registration.
