Description
This class will focus on the fundamentals of construction plans and specification document reading. Each class session will be held on Mondays for five consecutive weeks: April 13, 20, 27; May 4, 11, 2026.
Course Objectives:
The following topics are covered in this class: Construction Plans and Specification Documents; Language and Symbols; CSI Divisions; Scales; Substructures Superstructures; Interior Finishes; Conveying Systems and MEP Systems. This course is designed to give professionals, craftspeople, drafters, or anyone on a construction project, a better understanding of how to read a set of construction documents.
Target Audience:
Project team members including but not limited to: Superintendents, Project Managers, Subcontractors, Project Executives, Owners, Craftspeople or anyone wishing to expand his/her current skillset.
