This class will focus on the fundamentals of construction plans and specification document reading. Each of the class session meets every Monday for five consecutive weeks on September 9, 16, 23, 30, October 7, 2024..
Course Objectives:
The following topics are covered in this class: Construction Plans and Specification Documents; Language and Symbols; CSI Divisions; Scales; Substructures Superstructures; Interior Finishes; Conveying Systems and MEP Systems. This course is designed to give professionals, craftspeople, drafters, or anyone on a construction project, a better understanding of how to read a set of construction documents.
Target Audience:
Project team members including but not limited to: Superintendents, Project Managers, Subcontractors, Project Executives, Owners, Craftspeople or anyone wishing to expand his/her current skillset.
