AGC and ASA are partnering up to provide no cost heat stress prevention training. Learning outcomes will include information on OSHA's National Emphasis Program (NEP) on Heat and understanding the physiological effects of heat stress on the body including:
(1) Causes/prevention/first aid for heat illness
(2) Monitoring and prevention strategies
(3) heat hazard evaluation and recommended controls

This two-hour program will be offered in both English (2 sessions) and Spanish (1 session).
