Help Inspire the Next Generation of Women in Construction!

The AGC Women in Construction (WIC) Committee is proud to partner with the Houston Pearls Foundation for a special evening focused on connection, career inspiration, and giving back.

Join us as WIC members have the opportunity to connect with young people in the foster care community and share their personal journeys into the construction industry. Through an engaging panel discussion, our WIC members will talk about how they found their way into construction, lessons they’ve learned along the way, career opportunities, and advice for young people exploring their future.

This is more than an evening of networking - it’s a chance to show the next generation what’s possible and help them see construction as a rewarding career filled with opportunity, purpose, and growth.

What to Expect

6:00–7:00 PM | Dinner & Socializing
Enjoy dinner, conversation, and the opportunity to connect with WIC members and the students.

7:00–8:00 PM | WIC Member Panel
Hear from women working in construction as they share their career journeys, experiences, advice, and insights into the many paths available within the industry.

Give Back While You Connect

Members are encouraged to bring construction-related swag, company giveaways, or other items to share with the students.

We are also asking members who are able to consider bringing a $30 Visa gift card. These gift cards will be provided to foster parents to help with gas and transportation expenses.

Every contribution - big or small - can make a meaningful difference!

Registration Details

Free for current 2026 WIC members.

Space is intentionally limited to 15 WIC members so we can maintain an intimate and meaningful experience and ensure that the number of WIC participants remains appropriate for the group of approximately 20 - 40 youth attending.

This event is open exclusively to current 2026 Women in Construction members.

Important Registration Information

When registering, the system may show that the event is full. Please do not be concerned!

If you are a current 2026 WIC member, simply select “Waitlist” to complete your registration.

The “Waitlist” is not an actual waitlist. This is a registration option we are using behind the scenes so AGC Houston staff can verify current 2026 WIC membership and approve registrations.

There is still room available to attend, and you will not lose your spot by selecting “Waitlist.”
