STP Unit 1: Leadership and Motivation

Leadership and Motivation (STP Unit 1) focuses on the leadership skills supervisors need to build trust, support accountability, and motivate construction teams.

Participants explore leadership styles, motivation, team expectations, decision-making, and the supervisor’s role in creating a productive jobsite environment. The course helps supervisors think more intentionally about how they lead people, not just how they manage tasks.

This course is one module in AGC’s full Supervisory Training Program (STP).
